Lunatone Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl Guide
In Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, Levitate changes the entire equation for Lunatone. The 460 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked C-Tier. Power Gem with Life Orb is the standard set.
In Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, watch for Starmie (Water), Breloom (Grass), and Golem (Ground) when using Lunatone. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Bug, Ghost, Dark, and Steel-type attackers are also a problem. With 7 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter.
Levitate is what you want on Lunatone. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind.
Base 70 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. On offense, Lunatone is a special attacker with base 95 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two.
