Lilligant Guide

  • Don't let Lilligant's 480 base stat total fool you. Chlorophyll is what makes it tick. It punches way above its weight class. We rate it C-Tier as an attacker.

  • Watch for Volcarona (Fire), Lapras (Ice), and Roserade (Poison) when using Lilligant. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Flying and Bug-type attackers are also a problem. With 5 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter.

  • Run Chlorophyll on Lilligant. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Lilligant also gets Own Tempo and Leaf Guard, but they don't compare.

  • Lilligant fills the attacker role. It's a special attacker with base 110 Sp. Atk. Base 90 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.

  • Run Quiver Dance, Alluringvoice, Giga Drain, and Weatherball on Lilligant. Quiver Dance is the most common pick at 0% usage. This set covers the attacker role with a mix of damage and utility.

Game Availability

Lilligant first appeared in Black & White and spans 9 games across 6 generations. It later gained a Hisuian form in Generation 8, adding new dimensions to its competitive identity.
