Lilligant Best Moveset
110 Sp. Atk at 90 Speed on Grass with AbilityOwn Tempo preventing confusion, which enables MovePetal Dance without the confusion drawback. AbilityChlorophyll doubles Speed under sun for a different approach. The moveset runs special Grass TermStab at decent pace. Tera Grass amplifies the damage. Coverage beyond Grass is limited, which caps the offensive ceiling.
Quiver Dance plus Chlorophyll in Gen V (Black & White). In Sun, Chlorophyll doubled Speed, and Quiver Dance boosted further. Sleep Powder plus Petal Dance in Sun swept.

Dropped in Gen VI (X & Y). Weather nerfed to five turns. Without permanent Sun, Chlorophyll was unreliable and Lilligant was just a slow Grass-type with limited coverage.
Between tiers in Gen VII (Sun & Moon). Quiver Dance sets still worked in lower formats but couldn't break into the level above. Coverage was the constant problem.

Three gens of decline in Gen VIII (Sword & Shield). Pure Grass with Petal Dance and Sleep Powder. The movepool never expanded enough to compete.

Fell to the bottom in Gen IX (Scarlet & Violet). Hisuian Lilligant's Grass/Fighting typing was more competitive. Another original form overshadowed by its regional variant.

Base Stats
Lilligant's spread isn't flashy. Sp. Atk leads, Attack trails, 2 stats clear the bar. Moderately hard to find and worth 2 Sp. Atk EVs, on a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
No matter how much time and money is spent raising it, its flowers are the most beautiful when they bloom in the wild.
Lilligant Guide
Don't let Lilligant's 480 base stat total fool you. Chlorophyll is what makes it tick. It punches way above its weight class. We rate it C-Tier as an attacker.
Run Chlorophyll on Lilligant. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Lilligant also gets Own Tempo and Leaf Guard, but they don't compare.
Lilligant fills the attacker role. It's a special attacker with base 110 Sp. Atk. Base 90 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
Run Quiver Dance, Alluringvoice, Giga Drain, and Weatherball on Lilligant. Quiver Dance is the most common pick at 0% usage. This set covers the attacker role with a mix of damage and utility.
Game Availability
Lilligant first appeared in Black & White and spans 9 games across 6 generations. It later gained a Hisuian form in Generation 8, adding new dimensions to its competitive identity.
