Ledian Weakness
Type-wise, Ledian takes extra damage from Rock, Fire, Electric, Ice, and Flying. Watch out for Rock attacks, those deal 4x damage. Ground moves do nothing thanks to a full immunity. Ledian's special bulk (base 110 Sp.Def) helps absorb special-type weaknesses, though physical moves exploit the lower Defense.

Ledian Evolutions
Evolved from Ledyba. Ledian is the final form in this two-stage line. Plenty of partners for breeding via one egg group. Eggs are quick to hatch. Sp.Def grew the most through evolution (+30 over Ledyba), and Ledian peaks at 390 total stats. View every chain in the Evolution Chart.

USUM Ledian Best Moveset
110 Sp. Def with AbilityIron Fist boosting punch moves by 20%% as a hidden ability. But 35 Attack makes the punch boost meaningless. Bug/Flying typing with 55 Sp. Atk provides no offensive threat. The moveset absorbs special hits and does nothing in return.

Moves List
Breeding's the move. Bide and Bug Bite give Ledian options it can't learn any other way, and coverage across 7 types already covers a decent range on top of Bug Buzz and Air Slash. The egg moves push it further.

It’s said that the patterns on its back are related to the stars in the night sky, but the details of that relationship remain unclear.
It flies through the night sky, sprinkling sparkly dust. According to some, if that dust sticks to you, good things will happen to you.
Ledian Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon Guide
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Ledian's biggest threats include Aerodactyl (Rock), Charizard (Fire), and Raikou (Electric), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Aerodactyl is the most dangerous since Rock moves deal 4x damage. Ice and Flying-type attackers are also a problem. With 5 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter.
Honestly, in Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon Ledian is a tough sell at 390 BST. Plenty of stronger Bug/Flying options exist. Fun pick, not a practical one.
For Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, we rate Ledian C-Tier: a niche pick in Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon's meta. At 390 BST, the stats are spread pretty evenly. Drain Punch with Assault Vest is the standard set.
Swarm is the go-to ability for Ledian. It strengthens bug moves to inflict 1.5× damage at 1/3 max HP or less. Its hidden ability Iron Fist can work in specific setups. Early Bird is the other option. Pick based on what your team needs.
Base 85 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. On offense, Ledian is a physical attacker with base 35 Attack. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two.
Game Availability
Available in 16 titles since its debut in Gold & Silver, Ledian spans 9 generations of Pokemon games. It's accessible through wild encounters in most mainline games.
