For the Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl meta, At 600 BST, Latios is built different. We rank it B-Tier. As a Legendary Pokemon, the raw stats back up the reputation. Best used as a sweeper. Draco Meteor with Choice Specs is the standard set.
Mega Evolution isn't available in Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, but Latios does have a Mega form in Gen 6-7 games (X/Y, ORAS, Sun/Moon). Mega Latios hits 700 BST.

In Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, Run Levitate on Latios. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. With base 110 Speed, Levitate gives Latios an edge before opponents can react.
In Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, Latios fills the sweeper role. It's a special attacker with base 130 Sp. Atk. Base 110 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
