Latios Weakness
Ice, Bug, Ghost, Dragon, Dark, and Fairy moves hit Latios for super-effective damage. 6 resistances give it solid defensive coverage on top of that. Levitate grants an additional Ground immunity, reshaping the matchup chart. Latios's overall bulk (80/100/120) lets it take a hit or two from most weaknesses before going down.

Latios Legends: Z-A Guide
For the Legends: Z-A meta, At 700 BST, Latios is built different. We rank it S-Tier. As a Legendary Pokemon, the raw stats back up the reputation. Best used as a support. Draco Meteor with Souldew is the standard set.
Mega Evolution isn't available in Legends: Z-A, but Latios does have a Mega form in Gen 6-7 games (X/Y, ORAS, Sun/Moon). Mega Latios hits 800 BST.
In Legends: Z-A, watch for Lapras (Ice), Heracross (Bug), and Misdreavus (Ghost) when using Latios. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Dragon, Dark, and Fairy-type attackers are also a problem. With 6 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter. Latios has enough bulk to absorb a hit, but don't push the matchup. Pivot to a teammate that resists.
In Legends: Z-A, Run Levitate on Latios. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche.
In Legends: Z-A, Latios fills the support role. It's a special attacker with base 160 Sp. Atk. Base 110 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. And it's tanky enough to absorb a few hits.
Game Availability
Latios has appeared in 16 games since Ruby & Sapphire, spanning 8 generations. As a Legendary, it's typically a one-per-save encounter tied to the story or post-game content.
