Klang Black 2 & White 2 Guide
In Black 2 & White 2, Klang isn't fully evolved, so it's not built for competitive play. You'll want to evolve it into Klinklang to unlock its full potential. At 440 BST, it's a stepping stone rather than a team anchor.
Plus is the go-to ability for Klang. It increases Special Attack to 1.5× when a friendly Pokémon has plus or minus. Its hidden ability Clear Body can work in specific setups. Minus is the other option. Pick based on what your team needs.
In Black 2 & White 2, Klang fills the balanced role. It's a physical attacker with base 80 Attack. Base 50 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
In Black 2 & White 2, Klang does the job early-game if you need a Steel type on your team. Evolve it into Klinklang before the later gyms and it holds up fine through the story.
Game Availability
Introduced in Black & White, Klang has appeared in 7 games across 6 generations. Later debuts mean fewer total appearances, but it's been a consistent presence since its introduction.
