Is Kangaskhan Good in Legends: Z-A Playthrough?
Kangaskhan from Wild Zone 19, and the real draw is Mega Kangaskhan. The Mega form hits with massive physical power and enough bulk to stay in fights longer than most. Normal coverage doesn't hit super-effectively often, but the raw damage output doesn't need type advantage to dominate. Strongest through the mid-to-late faction boss stretch.

Kangaskhan Weakness
Kangaskhan's Normal typing leaves it vulnerable to Fighting. It shrugs off Ghost-type attacks completely. Kangaskhan's overall bulk (105/100/100) lets it take a hit or two from most weaknesses before going down.

STAB runs through Giga Impact and Hyper Beam for the basics, but Kangaskhan's real strength is the 13-type coverage spread. Dark and Dragon hit common defensive types, and the movepool keeps going.

Kangaskhan Legends: Z-A Guide
For Legends: Z-A, we rate Kangaskhan B-Tier: a solid option in Legends: Z-A for the right team. At 590 BST, it fits the sweeper role. Fakeout with Life Orb is the standard set.
Mega Evolution isn't available in Legends: Z-A, but Kangaskhan does have a Mega form in Gen 6-7 games (X/Y, ORAS, Sun/Moon). Mega Kangaskhan hits 690 BST.
In Legends: Z-A, watch for Hitmonlee (Fighting) when using Kangaskhan. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Only 1 weakness means fewer dedicated counters to worry about. Kangaskhan has enough bulk to absorb a hit, but don't push the matchup. Pivot to a teammate that resists.
Parental Bond lets the bearer hit twice with damaging moves. That's the one you want on Kangaskhan. It's the only ability Kangaskhan has.
Base 100 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. On offense, Kangaskhan is a physical attacker with base 125 Attack. Defensively? Tanky enough to absorb a few hits. Best used as a sweeper.
Game Availability
Since debuting in Red & Blue, Kangaskhan has appeared in 20 titles over 10 generations. Along the way, it received a Mega form in Generation 6, keeping it relevant across different competitive metas.
