Breadth over depth defines this movepool. Heatmor won't stack one type's damage ceiling, but coverage across 11 types means it always has an effective option. Overheat and Flare Blitz anchor the STAB core.

Heatmor Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon Guide
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Flash Fire changes the entire equation for Heatmor. The 484 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked C-Tier as an attacker. Firelash with Firiumz is the standard set.
Flash Fire is what you want on Heatmor. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Gluttony, White Smoke) work on paper but Flash Fire is what makes Heatmor worth using.
At base 65 Speed, it won't be moving first often. On offense, Heatmor is a mixed attacker with base 97 Attack and 105 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as an attacker.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, run Firelash, Giga Drain, Sucker Punch, and Thunderpunch on Heatmor. Firelash is the most common pick at 0% usage. This set covers the attacker role with a mix of damage and utility.
