Electric, Ice, Flying, Psychic, and Fairy moves hit Hawlucha for super-effective damage. The upside? Ground-type moves can't touch it at all. The Fighting/Flying typing picks up 4 resistances to work with. Hawlucha leans offensive (base 92 Atk) rather than trying to tank its weaknesses.

Hawlucha Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire Guide
In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, Hawlucha looks average on paper at 500 BST. But Mold Breaker is why it sees play. Build around that and it pulls its weight. B-Tier pivot on our tier list. Acrobatics with Sitrus Berry is the standard set.
In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, watch for Raikou (Electric), Walrein (Ice), and Aerodactyl (Flying) when using Hawlucha. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Psychic and Fairy-type attackers are also a problem. With 5 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter. Hawlucha's base 118 Speed lets it outpace many threats and strike first, which matters more than trying to tank hits.
Hawlucha gets Mold Breaker, Limber, and Unburden. But Mold Breaker is the one that matters. It's the centerpiece of every viable set. Build around that.
Hawlucha is a physical attacker with base 92 Attack. Enough bulk to take a hit or two, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 118 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. Fits the pivot role.
In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, run Acrobatics, Swords Dance, High Jump Kick, and Drain Punch on Hawlucha. Acrobatics is the most common pick at 0% usage. Acrobatics provides reliable STAB damage.
