Underneath its slimy skin is a thick layer of fat, and the combination of the two makes enemies’ attacks slide right off.
Goodra Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon Guide
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Sap Sipper changes the entire equation for Goodra. The 600 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked B-Tier as a tank. Flamethrower with Assault Vest is the standard set.
Sap Sipper is what you want on Goodra. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Hydration, Gooey) work on paper but Sap Sipper is what makes Goodra worth using.
Base 80 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. On offense, Goodra is a special attacker with base 110 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Tanky enough to absorb a few hits. Best used as a tank.
For Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, the core moveset is Flamethrower, Sludge Bomb, Thunderbolt, and Ice Beam. Flamethrower leads at 0% usage. This set covers the tank role with a mix of damage and utility.
