In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Golisopod has a 530 base stat total and ranks as B-Tier: a solid option in Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon for the right team. It works best as a wallbreaker. Firstimpression with Sitrus Berry is the standard set.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Golisopod's biggest threats include Jolteon (Electric), Aerodactyl (Flying), and Tyranitar (Rock), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. At base 40 Speed, Golisopod won't outrun any of these threats so switching to a resist is usually the safer play.
Emergency Exit is the go-to ability for Golisopod. It this Pokémon automatically switches out when its HP drops below half. It's Golisopod's only ability.
