Gligar Weakness
Gligar's Ground/Flying typing leaves it vulnerable to Ice and Water. Ice hits land at 4x, so they're the biggest threat. It shrugs off Electric and Ground-type attacks completely. Gligar's physical bulk (base 105 Def) helps cushion physical weakness hits, but special attackers are the bigger threat.

ORAS Gligar Best Moveset
Ground/Flying with AbilityImmunity as a hidden ability preventing poison. Held ItemEviolite pushes 75/105/65 defenses to extraordinary bulk at pre-evolution level. The moveset earns A-tier because Eviolite Gligar absorbs physical hits nearly as well as Gliscor while being harder to poison.

Base Stats
Gligar glides through the air without a sound as if it were sliding. This Pokémon hangs on to the face of its foe using its clawed hind legs and the large pincers on its forelegs, then injects the prey with its poison barb.
Gligar Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire Guide
In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, Gligar isn't fully evolved, so it's not built for competitive play. You'll want to evolve it into Gliscor to unlock its full potential. At 430 BST, it's a stepping stone rather than a team anchor.
Hyper Cutter prevents Attack from being lowered by other Pokémon. That's the one you want on Gligar. Immunity is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses. Sand Veil works too if your team needs something different.
In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, Gligar fills the support role. It's a physical attacker with base 75 Attack. Base 85 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, Gligar does the job early-game if you need a Ground/Flying type on your team. Evolve it into Gliscor before the later gyms and it holds up fine through the story.
Game Availability
Gligar has been available in 17 games since Gold & Silver, though obtaining it requires an item-based evolution. This extra step makes it less common than Pokemon found through standard wild encounters.
