Fraxure Guide

  • At 410 BST, Fraxure is firmly in pre-evolution territory. Evolve it into Haxorus before bringing it to any serious fight.

  • Watch for Cloyster (Ice), Salamence (Dragon), and Gardevoir (Fairy) when using Fraxure. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB.

  • Fraxure gets Mold Breaker, Rivalry, and Unnerve. But Mold Breaker is the one that matters. It's the centerpiece of every viable set. Build around that.

  • Fraxure is a mixed attacker with base 117 Attack and 40 Sp. Atk. Speed tells the real story. At base 67 Speed, it won't be moving first often. Fits the cannon role.

  • For a casual playthrough, Fraxure works as a placeholder. Dragon coverage is useful early. The real payoff is Haxorus. That's where the stats start mattering.

Game Availability

Since Black & White, Fraxure has been obtainable in 8 games. A Generation 5 debut means a shorter history, but Fraxure has appeared steadily across every generation since.
