Exeggcute starts showing up in late-game routes at decent spawn rates across 2 encounter spots. The list below is sorted so you can pick what fits your current progress without scrolling through everything.
Type-wise, Exeggcute takes extra damage from Bug, Fire, Ice, Poison, Flying, Ghost, and Dark. Watch out for Bug attacks, those deal 4x damage. 6 resistances give it solid defensive coverage on top of that. Exeggcute's physical bulk (base 80 Def) helps cushion physical weakness hits, but special attackers are the bigger threat.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Scizor can KO Exeggcute with U-turn (334-393%). Blaziken threatens a KO with Flare Blitz (180-211%). Kyurem's Ice Beam also KOs at 139-163%.
Evolving Exeggcute into Exeggutor takes an evolution item. It's not a simple level-up, so check the chain details below. Evolving adds up to 205 stat points total. View every chain in the Evolution Chart.
Grass/Psychic at 60 Sp. Atk with AbilityChlorophyll doubling Speed in sun and AbilityHarvest recycling berries as a hidden ability. The moveset at pre-evolution stats has no function. Exeggutor one evolution away adds 125 Sp. Atk, and the Alolan form shifts to Grass/Dragon.
Breeding's the move. Ancient Power and Block give Exeggcute options it can't learn any other way, and Normal and Bug coverage and more already covers a decent range on top of Leaf Storm and Solar Beam. The egg moves push it further.

In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Exeggcute does the job early-game if you need a Grass/Psychic type on your team. Evolve it into Exeggutor before the later gyms and it holds up fine through the story.
