Exeggcute Weakness
Type-wise, Exeggcute takes extra damage from Bug, Fire, Ice, Poison, Flying, Ghost, and Dark. Watch out for Bug attacks, those deal 4x damage. 6 resistances give it solid defensive coverage on top of that. Exeggcute's physical bulk (base 80 Def) helps cushion physical weakness hits, but special attackers are the bigger threat.
| Damage | Types |
|---|---|
| 4x (Critical) | Bug |
| 2x (Weak) | Fire, Ice, Poison, Flying, Ghost, Dark |
| 0.5x (Resist) | Water, Electric, Grass, Fighting, Ground, Psychic |
- Fairy type does not exist — Dragon has fewer checks
- Physical / Special split now per-move (introduced Gen IV)

Exeggcute Evolutions
Evolving Exeggcute into Exeggutor takes an evolution item. It's not a simple level-up, so check the chain details below. Evolving adds up to 205 stat points total. View every chain in the Evolution Chart.
How to Evolve
B2W2 Exeggcute Best Moveset
Grass/Psychic with AbilityChlorophyll doubles Speed in sun, but 60 Sp. Atk at this stage can't capitalize on the speed. The moveset fires dual TermStab at pre-evolution power levels. AbilityHarvest as a hidden ability recycles berries. Exeggutor one evolution away adds 125 Sp. Atk to the sun package.

Moves List
Breeding's the move. Ancient Power and Block give Exeggcute options it can't learn any other way, and Normal and Poison coverage and more already covers a decent range on top of Leaf Storm and Solar Beam. The egg moves push it further.
