Eiscue Best Moveset
Ice with AbilityIce Face blocking one physical hit completely (like Disguise for Ice-types). Ice Face form has 110 Defense. After the hit breaks the ice, Noice Face has 70 Defense but 130 Speed. The moveset absorbs one physical hit, shifts to fast mode, and fires MoveBelly Drum for max Attack. The setup trick mirrors Mimikyu but with a Speed transformation.
Ice Face absorbed one physical hit in Gen VIII (Sword & Shield). Like Disguise on Mimikyu. After the ice broke, 130 Speed emerged. 80 Attack behind it.

Evolution
Eiscue doesn't evolve, so breeding's where the action is. You'll find a massive partner pool across two egg groups, and eggs are average hatch time. View every chain in the Evolution Chart.
How to Evolve
Eiscue Locations
Eiscue sits at moderate rates across 5 spots in mid-game routes. Pick one from the sorted list and commit to it. Jumping between areas wastes more time than waiting in the right location.
Best Locations to Catch Eiscue in Scarlet & Violet
Catching Eiscue takes patience. The 5 walking encounters at Lv. 20-50 all have low spawn rates, so pick one location and stay put for the best odds.
A solid number of locations for Eiscue with decent spawn rates across late-game routes. The sort toggle below swaps between best odds and earliest access, so you can approach it based on where you are in the game.
Best Locations to Catch Eiscue in Sword & Shield
Eiscue shows up in 17 walking and surfing spots from Lv. 44-65. Plenty of options, and the list is sorted so the highest-rate locations at each progression stage come first.
Base Stats
Eiscue's built to absorb hits, not race for knockouts. Physical bulk with Defense doing the heavy lifting. And the slow 1.25M XP grind means it won't take forever to bring up, worth 2 Defense EVs.
Contrary to its looks, Eiscue is a poor swimmer. It creates ice balls at the tip of its single hair to lure prey in and fish them up.
Eiscue Guide
Eiscue looks average on paper at 470 BST. But Ice Face is why it sees play. Build around that and it pulls its weight. C-Tier on our tier list.
Watch for Cinderace (Fire), Machamp (Fighting), and Aerodactyl (Rock) when using Eiscue. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Steel-type attackers are also a problem.
Eiscue gets Ice Face. But Ice Face is the one that matters. It's the centerpiece of every viable set. Build around that.
Eiscue is a physical attacker with base 80 Attack. Enough bulk to take a hit or two, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 50 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go.
Run Bellydrum, Liquidation, Icespinner, and Icicle Spear on Eiscue. Bellydrum is the most common pick at 0% usage. This set covers the balanced role with a mix of damage and utility.
Game Availability
Since Sword & Shield, Eiscue has been obtainable in 2 games. A Generation 8 debut means a shorter history, but Eiscue has appeared steadily across every generation since.
