This vicious Pokémon sprays a poisonous liquid on opponents that come near. For whatever reason, it gets along really well with Dhelmise.
It blends in with seaweed to ambush its prey and then takes them down with a poisonous liquid strong enough to melt metal.
Dragalge Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon Guide
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Adaptability changes the entire equation for Dragalge. The 494 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked C-Tier. Sludgewave with Assault Vest is the standard set.
Adaptability is what you want on Dragalge. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Poison Point, Poison Touch) work on paper but Adaptability is what makes Dragalge worth using.
Base 44 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. On offense, Dragalge is a special attacker with base 97 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, run Sludgewave, Draco Meteor, Scald, and Thunderbolt on Dragalge. Sludgewave is the most common pick at 0% usage. This set covers the balanced role with a mix of damage and utility.
Game Availability
Dragalge joined the series in X & Y and has been available in 7 titles so far. With 5 generations of appearances, it's established itself despite the later start.
