Is Ditto Good in Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon Playthrough?
Useful for breeding, not for battling. Copying an opponent at half HP doesn't hold up against the bosses. Keep it in the box unless you need eggs.
Ditto has the type edge here and should clean up Ilima's team.
Hala's team hits Ditto's weaknesses hard.
Lana's typing presses Ditto's defenses.

Ditto Evolutions
Ditto is what you get. No evolutions, but it breeds through one egg group with no compatible partners. Hatching is average hatch time. View every chain in the Evolution Chart.
How to Evolve
Breeding
Ditto can breed with almost any Pokemon, making it essential for breeding genderless Pokemon and passing down IVs.
USUM Ditto Best Moveset
Transforming into the opponent on entry through AbilityImposter copies every stat, type, move, and ability at full HP. Base stats are completely irrelevant. Held ItemChoice Scarf guarantees outspeeding the original. The moveset is whatever the opponent brought, making Ditto the format's most unique competitive tool despite an F-tier base form.

Moves List
Ditto's options are limited here. You've got Normal STAB for STAB damage, but there isn't much beyond Normal hitting power. TMs help fill gaps, though the kit stays tight.

Base Stats
While it can transform into anything, each Ditto apparently has its own strengths and weaknesses when it comes to transformations.
It transforms into whatever it sees. If the thing it’s transforming into isn’t right in front of it, Ditto relies on its memory—so sometimes it fails.
Ditto Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon Guide
Ditto is a static encounter at Alola Konikoni City in Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon. Ditto appears at level 29. Prerequisite: LIMITED; The Ditto Five sidequest. Save before the encounter. These one-shot Pokemon don't respawn if you knock them out or run out of Poke Balls.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Ditto's biggest threats include Machamp (Fighting), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Only 1 weakness means fewer dedicated counters to worry about.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Imposter. This is Ditto's defining trait. It transforms upon entering battle. Every competitive set revolves around it. If your Ditto doesn't have Imposter, it's not worth running.
Honestly, in Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon Ditto is a tough sell at 288 BST. Plenty of stronger Normal options exist. Fun pick, not a practical one.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Don't let Ditto's 288 base stat total fool you. Imposter is what makes it tick. It punches way above its weight class. We rate it C-Tier. Transform with Choice Scarf is the standard set.
Game Availability
Ditto has been part of the series since Red & Blue, appearing in 20 titles across all 10 generations. As a Gen 1 original, it's one of the most consistently available Pokemon in the franchise.
