It wraps its prey in green seaweed and sucks away their vitality. It only likes to go after big prey like Wailord.
Its chain-like green seaweed can stretch outward for hundreds of yards. For some reason, it gets along well with Skrelp.
Dhelmise Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon Guide
For Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, we rate Dhelmise B-Tier: a solid option in Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon for the right team. At 517 BST, it fits the wallbreaker role. Powerwhip with Leftovers is the standard set.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, watch for Arcanine (Fire), Walrein (Ice), and Staraptor (Flying) when using Dhelmise. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Ghost and Dark-type attackers are also a problem. With 5 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter. At base 40 Speed, Dhelmise won't outrun any of these threats so switching to a resist is usually the safer play.
Steelworker this Pokémon's Steel moves have 1.5× power. That's the one you want on Dhelmise. It's the only ability Dhelmise has.
Base 40 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. On offense, Dhelmise is a physical attacker with base 131 Attack. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a wallbreaker.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, run Powerwhip, Anchorshot, Rapid Spin, and Earthquake on Dhelmise. Powerwhip is the most common pick at 0% usage. This set covers the wallbreaker role with a mix of damage and utility.
