How to Get Dartrix in Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon
Dartrix doesn't appear wild. Catch Rowlet instead, it shows up at moderate rates. Evolve it at level 34 to get Dartrix. The 3-stage chain is mapped in the step cards below.

This narcissistic Pokémon is a clean freak. If you don’t groom it diligently, it will stop listening to you.
Supremely sensitive to the presence of others, it can detect opponents standing behind it, flinging its sharp feathers to take them out.
Dartrix Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon Guide
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Dartrix isn't fully evolved, so it's not built for competitive play. You'll want to evolve it into Decidueye to unlock its full potential. At 420 BST, it's a stepping stone rather than a team anchor.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, watch for Weavile (Ice), Infernape (Fire), and Salazzle (Poison) when using Dartrix. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Weavile is the most dangerous since Ice moves deal 4x damage. Flying and Rock-type attackers are also a problem. With 5 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter.
Overgrow strengthens grass moves to inflict 1.5× damage at 1/3 max HP or less. That's the one you want on Dartrix. Long Reach is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Dartrix fills the support role. It's a physical attacker with base 75 Attack. At base 52 Speed, it won't be moving first often. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Dartrix does the job early-game if you need a Grass/Flying type on your team. Evolve it into Decidueye before the later gyms and it holds up fine through the story.
Game Availability
Introduced in Sun & Moon, Dartrix has appeared in 5 games across 4 generations. Later debuts mean fewer total appearances, but it's been a consistent presence since its introduction.
