Crawdaunt Weakness
Type-wise, Crawdaunt takes extra damage from Electric, Grass, Fighting, Bug, and Fairy. Psychic moves do nothing thanks to a full immunity. 6 resistances give it solid defensive coverage on top of that. Crawdaunt's physical bulk (base 85 Def) helps cushion physical weakness hits, but special attackers are the bigger threat.

USUM Crawdaunt Best Moveset
Doubled TermStab bonus through AbilityAdaptability makes 120 Attack behind Water/Dark moves hit at what feels like 240 effective power on same-type attacks. MoveAqua Jet adds priority Water coverage. But 55 Speed means acting last without priority. The moveset holds A-tier through Adaptability-boosted power that breaks anything failing to resist both types.

Breeding's the move. Ancient Power and Aqua Jet give Crawdaunt options it can't learn any other way, and coverage across 8 types already covers a decent range on top of Crabhammer and Surf. The egg moves push it further.

Base Stats
Its temperament is rough and it loves to fight, but as soon as its pincers break off, it turns cowardly. It stays timid until they grow back.
Its pincers often fall off. Unlike with Crabrawler or Clauncher, the meat in its claws is utterly nasty and stinking.
Crawdaunt Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon Guide
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Don't let Crawdaunt's 468 base stat total fool you. Adaptability is what makes it tick. It punches way above its weight class. We rate it C-Tier as a cannon. Aqua Jet with Choice Band is the standard set.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Run Adaptability on Crawdaunt. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Crawdaunt also gets Hyper Cutter and Shell Armor, but they don't compare.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Crawdaunt fills the cannon role. It's a physical attacker with base 120 Attack. At base 55 Speed, it won't be moving first often. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
For Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, the core moveset is Aqua Jet, Knock Off, Crabhammer, and Crunch. Aqua Jet leads at 0% usage. Crabhammer provides reliable STAB damage.
