Combusken Evolutions
Partway through Torchic's chain. Combusken still has another evolution ahead before reaching Blaziken. For breeding, average hatch time with a massive partner pool via one egg group. Attack has grown the most so far (+25), but there's still another 125 stats to gain in the final evolution. View every chain in the Evolution Chart.
How to Evolve
Breeding
Breed with Combusken to get Torchic eggs using 181 partners from the Ground egg group. Notable egg moves include Agility, Baton Pass, Counter and 11 more.
B2W2 Combusken Best Moveset
Fire/Fighting at 85 in both offenses with AbilitySpeed Boost adding Speed every turn. The moveset previews Blaziken's accelerating offense at middle-stage power. Each turn makes it faster, but 60/60 defenses limit how many turns the moveset gets. Blaziken one evolution away completes the concept.

Combusken Black 2 & White 2 Guide
Combusken is meant to evolve into Blaziken. At 405 BST, the stats aren't there for competitive play yet. Pre-evolution Pokemon rarely hold up against fully evolved threats.
Speed Boost is what you want on Combusken. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Blaze) work on paper but Speed Boost is what makes Combusken worth using.
In Black 2 & White 2, Speed Boost is the hidden ability. It raises Speed one stage after each turn. Worth hunting for if you want Combusken to compete at a higher level.
At base 55 Speed, it won't be moving first often. On offense, Combusken is a physical attacker with base 85 Attack.
Game Availability
Available in 16 titles since its debut in Ruby & Sapphire, Combusken spans 8 generations of Pokemon games. It's accessible through catching or hatching as a base form in most mainline games.
