Cinderace Best Moveset
AbilityLibero changes Cinderace's type to match the move used (once per switch-in), giving every attack TermStab bonus. 116 Attack at 119 Speed behind Held ItemHeavy Duty Boots and NatureJolly runs the fastest physical coverage available. Every move hits at 1.5x power. Tera adds another layer of type manipulation. S-Tier because universal TermStab on 119 Speed is unmatched.
Libero changed Cinderace's type to match every move before attacking in Gen VIII (Sword & Shield). STAB on everything. 116 Speed. Banned from standard play for the same reason as Greninja.

Base Stats
Everything pushes toward physical damage here. Cinderace's Speed does the work, Sp. Atk pays the price. But you're still getting 3 Speed EVs per KO. Tough to catch, on a 1.06M XP medium-slow curve.
Gigantamax energy can sometimes cause the diameter of this Pokémon’s fireball to exceed 300 feet.
Cinderace Guide
Cinderace looks average on paper at 530 BST. But Libero is why it sees play. Build around that and it pulls its weight. A-Tier sweeper on our tier list.
Watch for Urshifu (Water), Golem (Ground), and Aerodactyl (Rock) when using Cinderace. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB.
Cinderace gets Libero and Blaze. But Libero is the one that matters. It's the centerpiece of every viable set. Build around that. With base 119 Speed, Libero gives Cinderace an edge before opponents can react.
Cinderace is a physical attacker with base 116 Attack. Enough bulk to take a hit or two, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 119 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. Fits the sweeper role.
Cinderace has answers, but so do you. Priority moves (Mach Punch, Aqua Jet, Ice Shard) bypass its speed. Bulky walls that resist its STAB also shut it down.
Game Availability
Available since Sword & Shield, Cinderace appears in 2 games spanning 3 generations. Beyond its original form, it gained a Gigantamax form in Generation 8.
