How to Evolve
Breeding
Breed with Chimecho to get Chingling eggs easily using 52 partners from the Indeterminate egg group. Notable egg moves include Cosmic Power, Crafty Shield, Curse and 8 more.
USUM Chimecho Best Moveset
Psychic at 95 Sp. Atk and 90 Sp. Def with AbilityLevitate granting Ground immunity. MoveHeal Bell clears team status. But 65 Speed and 75/80 physical bulk leave the moveset too slow and too frail on the physical side. Support utility without the durability to use it.

Moves List
Breeding's the move. Cosmic Power and Crafty Shield give Chimecho options it can't learn any other way, and coverage across 8 types already covers a decent range on top of Synchronoise and Future Sight. The egg moves push it further.

Chimecho Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon Guide
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Levitate changes the entire equation for Chimecho. The 455 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked C-Tier as a support. Wish with Leftovers is the standard set.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Chimecho's biggest threats include Heracross (Bug), Misdreavus (Ghost), and Tyranitar (Dark), all carrying super-effective STAB moves.
Levitate is what you want on Chimecho. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind.
At base 65 Speed, it won't be moving first often. On offense, Chimecho is a special attacker with base 95 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a support.
For Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, the core moveset is Wish, Protect, Heal Bell, and Futuresight. Wish leads at 0% usage. This set covers the support role with a mix of damage and utility.
