Chatot Weakness
Electric, Ice, and Rock moves hit Chatot for super-effective damage. The upside? Ground and Ghost-type moves can't touch it at all. Chatot leans toward special offense (base 92 Sp.Atk) instead of trying to wall anything.
| Damage | Types |
|---|---|
| 2x (Weak) | Electric, Ice, Rock |
| 0.5x (Resist) | Grass, Bug |
| 0x (Immune) | Ground, Ghost |
- Fairy type does not exist — Dragon has fewer checks
- Physical / Special split now per-move (introduced Gen IV)

Chatot Black 2 & White 2 Guide
For Black 2 & White 2, it depends on your team. Chatot at 411 BST isn't a powerhouse, but the Normal/Flying coverage might be exactly what you're missing.
In Black 2 & White 2, Chatot has a 411 base stat total and ranks as C-Tier: a niche pick in Black 2 & White 2's meta. It works best as a pivot. Hypervoice with Life Orb is the standard set.
Keen Eye prevents accuracy from being lowered. That's the one you want on Chatot. Big Pecks is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses. Tangled Feet works too if your team needs something different.
In Black 2 & White 2, Chatot fills the pivot role. It's a mixed attacker with base 65 Attack and 92 Sp. Atk. Base 91 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. And it's fragile, can't afford to take many hits.
Game Availability
Chatot first appeared in Diamond & Pearl and has been available in 11 games across 7 generations. Obtainable through wild encounters in most titles where it appears.
