Celebi Weakness
Celebi's Psychic/Grass typing leaves it vulnerable to Bug, Fire, Ice, Poison, Flying, Ghost, and Dark. Bug hits land at 4x, so they're the biggest threat. It resists 6 types, so it can switch into a lot of moves safely. Celebi's overall bulk (100/100/100) lets it take a hit or two from most weaknesses before going down.

BDSP Celebi Best Moveset
Dropped from S-tier as 100 across every stat with Psychic/Grass TermStab couldn't keep up in a format where Bug, Dark, Fire, Flying, Ghost, Ice, and Poison all exploit the typing. AbilityNatural Cure clears status on every switch. The moveset is balanced but B-tier because seven type weaknesses overwhelm what the balanced stats can defend.

Moves List
The level-up pool is slim, so TMs matter here. Celebi's coverage across 9 types all comes from technical machines, built on top of Leaf Storm and Future Sight for same-type damage. Future Sight and Leaf Storm are the payoff moves.

Base Stats
You won't find a real weakness in Celebi's stat line. It's well-rounded for the Time Travel Pokemon, and what it does with that depends on moveset and items. Yields 3 HP EVs, on a 1.06M XP medium-slow curve.
It has the power to travel across time, but it is said to appear only in peaceful times.
Celebi Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl Guide
For the Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl meta, At 600 BST, Celebi is built different. We rank it B-Tier. As a Mythical Pokemon, the raw stats back up the reputation. Best used as a sweeper. Leaf Storm with Heavy-Duty Boots is the standard set.
In Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, watch for Scizor (Bug), Arcanine (Fire), and Lapras (Ice) when using Celebi. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Scizor is the most dangerous since Bug moves deal 4x damage. Poison, Flying, Ghost, and Dark-type attackers are also a problem. With 7 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter. Celebi has enough bulk to absorb a hit, but don't push the matchup. Pivot to a teammate that resists.
Celebi gets Natural Cure. But Natural Cure is the one that matters. It's the centerpiece of every viable set. Build around that. With base 100 Speed, Natural Cure gives Celebi an edge before opponents can react.
Celebi is a mixed attacker with base 100 Attack and 100 Sp. Atk. Tanky enough to absorb a few hits, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 100 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. Fits the sweeper role.
In Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, run Leaf Storm, U Turn, Futuresight, and Recover on Celebi. Leaf Storm is the most common pick at 0% usage. This set covers the sweeper role with a mix of damage and utility.
