Bronzong Weakness
Fire, Ground, Ghost, and Dark moves hit Bronzong for super-effective damage. The upside? Poison-type moves can't touch it at all. It resists 9 types, so it can switch into a lot of moves safely. Levitate grants an additional Ground immunity, reshaping the matchup chart. Bronzong's overall bulk (67/116/116) lets it take a hit or two from most weaknesses before going down.

BDSP Bronzong Best Moveset
Dropped from S-tier as 116/116 in both defenses on Steel/Psychic typing resisting 9 types couldn't maintain dominance. AbilityLevitate removes Ground weakness or AbilityHeatproof halves Fire damage. The moveset runs defensive support with MoveStealth Rock access. B-tier because the bulk and typing are still genuinely hard to break through.

The level-up pool is slim, so TMs matter here. Bronzong's coverage across 8 types all comes from technical machines, built on top of Future Sight and Dream Eater for same-type damage. Future Sight and Dream Eater are the payoff moves.

Bronzong Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl Guide
In Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, Bronzong looks average on paper at 500 BST. But Levitate is why it sees play. Build around that and it pulls its weight. C-Tier trick room on our tier list. Bodypress with Leftovers is the standard set.
In Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, watch for Arcanine (Fire), Swampert (Ground), and Misdreavus (Ghost) when using Bronzong. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Dark-type attackers are also a problem. At base 33 Speed, Bronzong won't outrun any of these threats so switching to a resist is usually the safer play.
Bronzong gets Levitate, Heatproof, and Heavy Metal. But Levitate is the one that matters. It's the centerpiece of every viable set. Build around that.
Bronzong is a physical attacker with base 89 Attack. Tanky enough to absorb a few hits, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 33 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. Fits the trick room role.
In Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, run Bodypress, Stealth Rock, Gyroball, and Iron Defense on Bronzong. Bodypress is the most common pick at 0% usage. This set covers the trick room role with a mix of damage and utility.
