XY Blaziken Best Moveset
AbilitySpeed Boost accelerating past everything remained format-breaking, and Fairy types resisting Fighting didn't slow Blaziken because Fire TermStab hits Fairy neutrally. 120 Attack fires MoveHigh Jump Kick at devastating power. The moveset stayed banned from standard play because Speed stacking plus Fire/Fighting coverage has no consistent counter.

Moves List
The level-up pool is slim, so TMs matter here. Blaziken's coverage across 8 types all comes from technical machines, built on top of Blast Burn and High Jump Kick for same-type damage. Flare Blitz and High Jump Kick are the payoff moves.

Blaziken X & Y Guide
In the X & Y meta, Blaziken already has 630 BST going for it, and Speed Boost pushes the competitive value even higher. B-Tier sweeper on our tier list. Protect with Life Orb is the standard set.
In X & Y, yes. Mega Blaziken is the evolved form, sitting at 730 BST. Big power spike over base Blaziken (630). Equip the Mega Stone and it transforms in battle.
In X & Y, watch for Starmie (Water), Golem (Ground), and Aerodactyl (Flying) when using Blaziken. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Psychic-type attackers are also a problem.
Blaziken gets Speed Boost. But Speed Boost is the one that matters. It's the centerpiece of every viable set. Build around that. With base 100 Speed, Speed Boost gives Blaziken an edge before opponents can react.
Blaziken is a physical attacker with base 160 Attack. Enough bulk to take a hit or two, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 100 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. Fits the sweeper role.
