Moves List
Without TMs, Beautifly's movepool is bare bones. With them, you get coverage across 8 types on top of Bug Buzz and Signal Beam for STAB. The natural kit handles basics, but TMs are doing the real work.

Beautifly Black 2 & White 2 Guide
In Black 2 & White 2, watch for Golem (Rock), Charizard (Fire), and Raikou (Electric) when using Beautifly. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Golem is the most dangerous since Rock moves deal 4x damage. Ice and Flying-type attackers are also a problem. With 5 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter.
In Black 2 & White 2, Beautifly has niche appeal at best. 395 base stats means you're fighting uphill by mid-game. There are better Bug/Flying Pokemon available.
In Black 2 & White 2, Beautifly has a 395 base stat total and ranks as C-Tier: a niche pick in Black 2 & White 2's meta. It works best as an attacker. Quiver Dance with Focusband is the standard set.
Swarm strengthens bug moves to inflict 1.5× damage at 1/3 max HP or less. That's the one you want on Beautifly. Rivalry is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses.
In Black 2 & White 2, Beautifly fills the attacker role. It's a special attacker with base 100 Sp. Atk. At base 65 Speed, it won't be moving first often. And it's fragile, can't afford to take many hits.
Game Availability
Beautifly first appeared in Ruby & Sapphire and has been available in 14 games across 8 generations. Obtainable through wild encounters in most titles where it appears.
