Anorith Evolutions
Anorith is the base form in a two-stage line leading to Armaldo. Check the evolution method below. A decent partner pool for breeding via one egg group. Eggs are slow to hatch. The evolved forms gain up to 140 total stats over Anorith. View every chain in the Evolution Chart.
How to Evolve
BDSP Anorith Best Moveset
95 Attack at 75 Speed with Rock/Bug TermStab and hidden AbilitySwift Swim doubling Speed in rain. The moveset has physical offense but pre-evo bulk at 45/50/50 crumbles. One evolution from Armaldo where 125 Attack and 100 Defense give the physical presence real substance.

Moves List
You'll want to breed for Aqua Jet and Cross Poison on Anorith. These egg moves aren't just nice to have. Combined with STAB from X-Scissor and Rock Slide, they expand what Anorith can actually threaten in practice.

A small dot on the icon's corner marks the move as contact. That triggers abilities like Static, Flame Body, Rough Skin, or Iron Barbs, plus items like Rocky Helmet and Sticky Barb.
Tier (S to D)
Each move's competitive rank in RankedBoost's system. TM, Egg, and Tutor sort by tier by default (best first). On Level-Up, click the Tier header to do the same.
PWR (Power)
Base damage. Numbers shown in a type color include STAB (base × 1.5). Hover any colored number to see the math.

Anorith Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl Guide
At 355 BST, Anorith is firmly in pre-evolution territory. Evolve it into Armaldo before bringing it to any serious fight.
Anorith gets Swift Swim and Battle Armor. But Swift Swim is the one that matters. It's the centerpiece of every viable set. Build around that.
In Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, Anorith's hidden ability is Swift Swim. Doubles Speed during rain. Better than the standard options for competitive play.
Anorith is a mixed attacker with base 95 Attack and 40 Sp. Atk. Fragile, can't afford to take many hits, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 75 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many.
Game Availability
Debuting in Ruby & Sapphire, Anorith appears in 14 games across 8 generations. A reliable presence in a solid number of games, typically found through catching or hatching as a base form.
