Annihilape Weakness

Annihilape's Fighting/Ghost typing leaves it vulnerable to Flying, Psychic, Ghost, and Fairy. It shrugs off Normal and Fighting-type attacks completely. Annihilape's overall bulk (110/80/90) lets it take a hit or two from most weaknesses before going down.

Annihilape Guide

  • We rate Annihilape B-Tier: a solid choice for the right team. At 535 BST, it fits the pivot role. Base 115 Attack stands out.

  • Watch for Aerodactyl (Flying), Espeon (Psychic), and Chandelure (Ghost) when using Annihilape. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Fairy-type attackers are also a problem.

  • Vital Spirit prevents sleep. That's the one you want on Annihilape. Defiant is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses. Inner Focus works too if your team needs something different.

  • Base 90 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. On offense, Annihilape is a physical attacker with base 115 Attack. Defensively? Tanky enough to absorb a few hits. Best used as a pivot.

  • Run Ragefist, Ragefist, Drain Punch, and Drain Punch on Annihilape. Ragefist is the most common pick at 0% usage. This set covers the pivot role with a mix of damage and utility.

Game Availability

Annihilape joined the series in Scarlet & Violet and has been available in 2 titles so far. With 2 generations of appearances, it's established itself despite the later start.
