Who Is Redd?
Redd is a shifty-looking Fox who sells a variety of Paintings and Statues, some of which are not genuine. You might encounter him the first time wandering along the shore of one of your beaches, enjoying the view before he asks you if you’ll buy one of his pieces. In past games, he would appear on the Town Plaza inside his signature tent; if you do not know your paintings, you’ll need to keep an eye out for his schemes.
Before you can buy Artwork from Redd you will have to unlock his shop; Jolly Redd’s Treasure Trawler. Once that is done there are a few things to note when purchasing anything from his shop.
- You can only buy one Art Piece a visit (Painting or Statue, choose wisely)
- You will have to wait until the next day to receive your purchase
